Running Away Edit

Part of dealing with fights that we can't fight our way out of is avoiding them, or fleeing from them if we either get ambushed, or think we can take them and then change our minds.

Avoiding fights is obviously our problem and can be handled by scouting, sneaking, negotiations, bribery and intimidation.

Are we gaming out Running Away in the combat system (meaning that slow PCs may be eaten by the dragon while the rest of us scatter) or are we handling it with a more abstract "Run Away" button?
